IMPACT

The Compact Armored Electric Bus revolution.
400A - 5000A
IP55

With revolutionary design and product engineering, IMPACT brings to the market the best solution for power projects up to 5000A, with accidental installation error-proof splicing block, compact body and unibody extruded housing.
Produced in a completely automated line, IMPACT offers IP55 degree of protection. Today it is a legacy line produced under special conditions (Legacy Product *) having been replaced by its successor IMPACT 2.

The IMPACT bus is the modular armored bus system. Its production is totally robotic, following production standards similar to the automobile companies. This product is available in copper and aluminum conductor versions with IP 55 degree of protection. As the first generation of the IMPACT family, this product is being replaced by the IMPACT 2 product. The advantages of applying this bus in the work are:

1) Mobility: The system allows the layout change easily without incurring additional expenses, since the system is plug-in and can be easily disassembled and assembled;

2) Saving Installation Labor: When compared to the conventional cable system, the busbar system is much faster in its assembly;

3) Reliability: The IMPACT busbar system has all NBR tests, where the customer can request all type and routine test certificates performed on the product. The buscase is made of aluminum, so it is suitable for regions with more aggressive climates and where high reliability in the energy supply is desired. The robotic production system brings regularity to the IMPACT bus, excluding human errors.

4) Safety: The splices between the parts are performed with the single-bolt system, single screw, this system has an indicator that informs the installer when the splicing screw reaches 85Nm, the torque required to make contact between the parts. Because it is a lighter product than the other busbars, handling is simpler, preventing efforts that can cause injuries to the installer.

5) Investment Cost Reduction: The cost per meter of armored busbars is lower than that of cables. The investment cost per meter becomes lower compared to cable, as the electrical currents of the project increase.

The IMPACT bus system is supplied in currents from 400A to 6300A. Consult the technical catalog or contact our application engineers for more information.
