Medium Voltage Busway
MT-FNS
Medium Voltage Busway with Non-Segregated Phases
The MT-FNS busbar system, medium voltage busbar with non-segregated phases, is a busbar system for transporting medium voltage energy, up to 36kV. This product is widely applied in medium and large works for cable replacement. Meets NBR IEC 612271-200 and ANSI C37-23, and is also a certified Petrobras product. The advantages of using this product on the construction site are:
1) Mobility: As the MT-FNS busbar system is assembled in parts, in case of a change of layout or transfer of the substation it can be transferred, which is not the case with cable systems.
2) Saving Installation Labor: This system eliminates the need for cables, so it saves installation time much more;
3) Reliability: The MT-FNS busbar system brings more reliability to the energy transport because it is a safe and certified energy transport system meeting all NBR standards.
4) Safety: When using the MT-FNS busbars the user has his entire system certified and tested.
5) Reduction of the Investment Cost: In long distances and high currents the busbar system becomes much more advantageous, not only in technical benefits, but in financial benefits.
The MT-FNS bus system is supplied in currents of 800A and 5000A. Consult the technical catalog or contact our application engineers for more information.
MT-FS
Medium Voltage Busway with Segregated Phases
The MT-FS busbar system, medium voltage busbar with segregated phases, is a busbar system for transporting medium voltage power, up to 36kV in IP55 protection. This product is widely applied in medium and large works for cable replacement. Meets NBR IEC 612271-200 and ANSI C37-23, and is also a certified Petrobras product. The advantages of using this product on the construction site are:
1) Mobility: As the MT -FS busbar system is assembled in parts, if there is a change of layout or transfer of the substation it can be transferred, which does not happen with cable systems.
2) Saving Installation Labor: This system eliminates the need for cables, so it saves installation time much more;
3) Reliability: The MT -FS busbar system brings more reliability to the energy transport because it is a safe and certified energy transport system meeting all NBR standards.
4) Safety: When using the MT -FS busbars the user has his entire system certified and tested. The system of segregated phases brings more security, since in addition to the insulators, a grounded metallic partition is placed between the phases.
5) Reduction of the Investment Cost: In long distances and high currents the busbar system becomes much more advantageous, not only in technical benefits, but in financial benefits.
The MT-FS bus system is supplied in currents of 800A and 5000A. Consult the technical catalog or contact our application engineers for more information.
MT-FI
Medium Voltage Busway with Isolated Phases
The medium voltage busbar system, up to 38KV, MT -FI is the busbar system most used for transporting large amounts of energy in hydroelectric and thermoelectric plants. It is used to interconnect between generator and transformer and / or high power equipment. It is available in degree of protection IP65, which allows installations for external use. This energy transport system is widely used by large consumers and energy suppliers due to several advantages:
1) Specialized Labor: The interconnection between high power equipment is not feasible if carried out with cables or other type of system, with the MT-FI busbar system this interconnection is possible using specialized labor.
2) Reliability: The MT-FI busbar system is the most reliable system for transporting high power. This system meets NBR standards and the most demanding standard for this type of equipment is ANSI C37.23. He has several type tests and several cases.
3) Safety: Due to the MT-FI bus having its internal conductors in a grounded aluminum enclosure, accidents have a corona effect and discharges are minimized.
The MT-FNS bus system is supplied in currents of 2,500A and 20,000A. Consult the technical catalog or contact our application engineers for more information.
